Graphic Designer for UN Country Team (Turkmenistan)

About the role

The United Nations Country Team in Turkmenistan is seeking a Graphic Design Consultant to provide high‑quality visual support for a range of communication products. Working under the UN Resident Coordinator Office Head of Office / Strategic Planning Officer, the consultant will help translate complex data and policy messages into clear, reader‑friendly designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout of UN reports and publications, delivering both print‑ready and digital versions.
• Create country situation updates, fact sheets, one‑/two‑page briefs, policy briefs, and concept notes.
• Develop infographics, charts, maps, icons, and other data‑visualisation assets.
• Structure and format data‑heavy content into accessible layouts.
• Ensure full compliance with UN branding and visibility guidelines across all products.
• Review photo selection, image quality, and visual coherence.
• Prepare print‑ready files and web‑optimized PDFs, including editable source files.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic production from concept to published/printed product.
• Demonstrated ability to work with content and translations provided by UN agencies.
• Portfolio showcasing recent design projects in PDF format.
